Catching up!

Long time, no see.... I know, I know. We have been swamped since July! It was a wonderful month with many shoots and even the opportunity to shoot at a KISS concert! August was equally as wonderful with several weddings and a trip to NYC.

Jason and I photographed a wedding in Westbrook, CT and visited a friend in the city for a few days afterwards. The wedding in CT was so beautiful and we get to spend more time with the bride and groom again in October! They are having two wedding ceremonies, one traditional Amercian and the other is an Indian Hindu wedding. That wedding is going to be so colorful and exciting!!

Whew!

Whew! We've been busy! We shot two weddings within a week of each other, Serena taught a class at Samy's camera with Joyce Wilson, and we also shot two new ads for the Chumash Casino! I'd say we've been pretty busy.. Our weddings were so beautiful! Amy and Dave got married in Lompoc at Melville Winery and Bonnie and Miguel were married at Westmont in Santa Barbara. So far 4 weddings down and 9 to go for the year! What a great year it has been so far... Here are some photos from Amy and Dave's wedding.. Photos from Bonnie and Miguel's wedding are soon to follow.

New Website!

We have just update our website! The designer did a great job and we love the new changes. Also, you can view slideshows of recent shoots we have done in the "events" area. It is soooo cool! We are excited to start posting more wedding slideshows and images so keep checking back!

Good News!

Hello all! Jason and I just learned that one of our wedding images was selected as a finalist in the Best of Weddings contest sponsored by FujiFilm and WPPI. We are so excited! Keep your fingers crossed for us and we'll keep you updated!

News Update!

Hello to all and hope the new year is treating everyone well. We have just returned from Imaging USA and are completely inspired! What a great week! We hung out with Joyce Wilson and Carol Andrews, who are great ladies and completely insane. We visited a friend of Serena's whom she had not seen in 5 years and ate a lot of crazy Texas food. (Time for some salads...) Life is great and we are gearing up for a busy season. Serena was just featured in the Feburary 2006 issue of Professional Photographers of America as one of the faces of PPA. Very exciting! We will keep you updated as the news rolls in...
